A free age gate for VR Realms

VR Realms Mature Content is a free, optional add-on for VR Realms. It contains no worlds, avatars, or files of its own. Its only job is to act as an age gate: once it's on your account, VR Realms will show you community worlds and avatars that their creators have tagged as mature.

What it unlocks

• Community-created worlds tagged as mature

• Mature-tagged items become visible in in-game browsing and search

How it works

• Free - nothing to buy
  
• No download; VR Realms simply checks whether you own it
  
• Players who don't own it are unaffected - mature-tagged content stays hidden for them
  
• Remove it at any time to go back to the default, filtered experience

The base game VR Realms (free) must be installed. All content unlocked here is created and uploaded by the VR Realms community.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

VR Realms is a social platform where players build and share their own worlds and avatars. Some community submissions are marked as mature and are only visible to players who have opted in by installing the free Mature Content DLC.

Mature content in VR Realms can include:

- Horror worlds with frightening imagery, jump scares, and psychological themes
- Stylized and realistic violence, including blood and depictions of weapons
- Strong language
- Adult humor and dark or uncomfortable subject matter
- Depictions of alcohol, such as bars

Community avatars include revealing outfits, and conversation between players can include sexual innuendo and sex-related language.

There is no nudity, no explicit sexual content, and no depiction of sexual acts. Content of that kind is prohibited by the User Agreement and is removed when we find it.

VR Realms also has live voice and text chat between players. Conversation between players is not screened in advance, so you may encounter language or behavior from other people that we have not reviewed. Any world, avatar, or player can be reported from the in-game menu.
