Last Contract is a fast-paced neon action game where you fight through enemies using a katana, shurikens. Combat is frequent and lethal you and your enemies each die in a single hit but the violence is highly stylized: defeated enemies burst into bright neon particles and pixel-art sprites rather than realistic blood or gore. There is no dismemberment, torture, or graphic injury. The story follows a contract killer and touches on dark, melancholic themes (death, killing, weariness) through brief optional text dialogue. The game contains no sexual content or nudity.
