ABOUT THIS GAME

BANNER PROTOCOL is a tactical roguelike deckbuilder set in a dying retro-futurist empire.

Your courier, STARLING-12, has crashed on Halcyon-9 carrying forbidden cargo: BANNER, a military intelligence capable of seizing the Crown’s command network. To complete its final broadcast, you must assemble an unlikely coalition, survive seven hostile armies, and break through to the Helios Crown Array.

BUILD YOUR FORMATION

Deploy units, artifacts, and support cards across a 4×4 tactical field. Position matters: every card contributes attack, wealth, defense, and faction effects that can reshape the entire formation.

COMBINE RIVAL FACTIONS

Choose an operator and recruit cards from four distinct factions:

• Vectari — reliable units and balanced formations

• Ferrum — powerful artifacts and resource engines

• Aetheri — adaptive combinations and tactical utility

• Kharvox — aggressive pressure and high-risk power

Mix their strengths, manage their rivalries, and create a coalition capable of surviving the route ahead.

INTERCEPT THE ENEMY SIGNAL

Every opponent broadcasts its next attack. Accept the incoming damage, spend gold to jam the signal, or hijack the command entirely. A carefully timed override can save your formation—but every bribe leaves fewer resources for cards, rerolls, and relics.

ADAPT AFTER EVERY BATTLE

Claim new cards, secure powerful relics, modify your deck, and decide how much of your limited supply to risk. Each run creates new combinations, new weaknesses, and new ways to reach the Crown.

FACE SEVEN HOSTILE ARMIES

Fight raiders, artillery companies, mechanized battalions, and the Crown’s final command array. Enemy pressure escalates with every node, forcing you to rebuild your strategy before the next transmission begins.

THE BROADCAST MUST CONTINUE

Reach the Helios Crown Array before BANNER restores the empire through your signal—or decide what should remain when the final protocol is executed.
