About This Game

The mine is collapsing. You're deep inside with a pack full of ore and no idea how long you have left. Welcome to Delverun.

Most mining games worry about how much you can carry. Delverun doesn't care, you carry everything you mine. The only thing stopping you is time itself. As a goblin, your mission is simple: run into a randomly generated mine, mine as much ore as you can and run back to safety before the cave collapses. Greed gets you killed. Time management is key. Survive, and the mine resets for your next run. It never has the same layout twice, so exploration matters just as much as mining.

Main gameplay loop

The main loop depends on your own ability to manage time. First, you run into the mine and explore it for valuable minerals, mining them along the way. After some time, the mine will start to collapse, and you must find your way out back to the surface. If you don't, you get stuck inside the mine forever. If you make it to the surface, you get to sell your ores at the local market and gain a reward for your hard and risky work. You then buy upgrades for your drill and return to the mine again, which is now differently generated. But don't linger, the surface won't wait for you either. With the upgrades, you aim to mine more valuable resources to sell for a higher reward, slowly building wealth and becoming the richest goblin around.

Progression

In Delverun, progression revolves around thinking quickly and on your feet, you never have enough time to think about what to buy. Choose between buying different drill upgrades or abilities and quickly return back to the mine. Whichever upgrade you choose will help you become more powerful, slowly building your dream tool, piece by piece.

Mine generation

The mine is always regenerated anew after every collapse, meaning you never get to visit the same mine twice. Every run means learning the layout from scratch, requiring new exploration. The core principle of the mine is simple: the further you go, the better the minerals. Be careful though, you must reserve some time for running back to the surface!

Upgrades shop

The market is where your hard-earned ore becomes real power. Spend it on drill bit upgrades for raw breaking strength, engine upgrades for mining speed, or new abilities that change how you approach the mine entirely. Just don't linger too long, every second spent browsing is a second not spent digging.

And this is just the beginning, expect the depths of Delverun to grow deeper, stranger, and more dangerous as development continues.
