CD-R Racing is a love letter to the racing games of the 90s and a time portal to the rave music, the aesthetics, the vibes and the joy of the era. Driving your 1995 Knee Sun GT-R along a low poly coastline at 180 mph blasting a 180 bpm DnB roller never felt so good.

Conquer all corners of this PS1-inspired world as you race to win your collection of stolen CD-R discs back. Releasing your tracks on vinyl will earn you money to unlock new cars and discover new parts of the world.

Drift real good to fill up your car’s Mix Battery Meter™, use it to trigger Phaze Shift™, then drive flawlessly during the mix and obtain the CD-R disc as the next tune drops. Operating your low poly vehicle to shattering 12-bit breakbeats, you’ll be going faster with each drop of a fresh, new song, 4 per course.

CD-R Racing boasts a soundtrack of 100+ tracks from prominent DnB, Jungle and House producers. Artists such as PIZZA HOTLINE, DR GABBA, TIM REAPER, ZORROVIAN, and BLKSMIITH deliver breakbeats at breakneck speeds as you blast through scenic low poly routes in your cult ride of choice.

These very artists actually inspired us to start making our game in the first place. Since 2021 we’ve witnessed the sound of late 90’s rave merging with reverence for PS1 era gaming and it’s like hearing a soundtrack building. Someone just needed to make the game.
