About This Content

Exploring the British Capital

With The Bus - London South, The Bus takes you to the British capital for the first time.

Take the wheel of a London bus and explore large parts of South and Central London, featuring world-famous landmarks, lively districts and the distinctive streetscape of the British capital.

The interconnected road network takes you through areas including Westminster and Lambeth. Famous landmarks alternate with residential areas, shopping streets and major transport hubs. Driving on the left also provides a driving experience that is noticeably different from the routes previously available in The Bus.

At release, Transport for London routes 2 and 507 will be fully driveable. They are complemented by partially recreated sections of routes 77, 88, 148, 196 and night route N2.

From Marylebone to West Norwood

Covering around 7.5 miles (12 km), route 2 connects Marylebone with West Norwood. The route passes through a variety of areas, linking Central London with the southern parts of the city.

Along the way, you will pass well-known locations such as Marble Arch, Hyde Park and Victoria Station. The route then continues through districts such as Brixton towards South London.

Densely built-up streets, major junctions and London's busy traffic provide plenty of variety along the way.

The former Route 507 offers a shorter connection right in the heart of the city. Covering around 2.3 miles (3.7 km), it runs between Waterloo and Victoria, connecting two of London's most important railway stations.

Passing World-Famous Landmarks

The London road network takes you through some of the best-known areas of the British capital. Around Westminster, you will pass the Palace of Westminster with Big Ben, the London Eye and Westminster Bridge.

Away from the world-famous landmarks, London South reveals many other sides of the city. Districts such as Brixton and Vauxhall shape the scenery alongside major railway stations including London Marylebone, London Victoria and London Waterloo.

More than 200 individually created buildings, landmarks and monuments recreate London's distinctive architecture. Over 300 custom-made street objects add further detail to the cityscape. These include typical bus shelters, road signs, litter bins, barriers and many other characteristic elements of London's streets.

From the Depot to the Streets of London

You can begin your duty at one of three authentically recreated London bus depots. Norwood, Stockwell and Waterloo are based on their real-world counterparts and integrated into the road network.

An additional fictional depot is available for the Economy Mode in The Bus. This allows you to build and develop your own bus company in London as well.

Separate, standalone London buses are planned to complement the DLC at release. Further information about these vehicles will be announced at a later date.

Following release, London South is also planned to be expanded further through free updates. Additional content will be announced as development progresses.

Discover London from a new perspective and take the wheel in The Bus - London South.
