Waarom vroegtijdige toegang?

'While major gameplay components are already in place and functioning, players help is needed to add some of the smaller features and content. Of course polishing the overall experience is important at the same time. Game has been extensively tested in closed group, but it is always important to hear fresh suggestions from larger crowd that come from various gaming backgrounds. Plan is to make the game as good as possible but without compromising the core idea.'

Hoelang blijft dit spel ongeveer in vroegtijdige toegang?

'It could take anything from few months to year. But the goal should be always going for the finishing of the game and not veer off too much from that path. That should all happen in a year.'

Hoe gaat de volledige versie verschillen van de versie met vroegtijdige toegang?

'Full version will be the same game as it currently stands, but with added smaller supportive features and challenges. Also proper beginning and end, so called "story", will be added while in Early Access. Game is like bread dough, where some salt needs to be added.'

'All the major features are in place, but might need polishing and graphics updates. There is playable content easily for hours. Great care has been given to general optimizations since the beginning of development so game should run well with recommended systems.'

'No price increase after Early Access. Together with one week launch sale there might be maximum of one (1) sale campaign during Early Access, but not in 2016.'

'Community can suggest ideas, features and fixes and we try to include them in the game when ever it is possible. Our focus will be in ideas that support the core game idea and are practical from development point of view.'

MY SUMMER CAR is the ultimate car owning, building, fixing, tuning, maintenance AND permadeath life survival simulator. You start the game with hundreds of loose parts and assemble both car and engine. Not only you need to maintain your car, but yourself as well. Sausages, beer and sleeping will do just fine.

If everything goes well, you have a working car which you can use for various 1990's Finnish countryside summer activities. Basically doing stupid things under influence of alcohol. After you have gathered extra money from various random jobs, you can start to tune and upgrade the car with parts ordered via snail mail. You can turn the car into a obnoxious bass-boom disco machine.... or into a rally car to participate rally competitions... or just fix it into perfect factory condition. Of course car also needs to pass the inspection or you might get into trouble with police.

Not only you have access to one car, but also several other cars and vehicles which you can use. (Mostly useful to get groceries and for towing the project car from some ditch, again).

Warning, this game is not for fainted heart. Severe car fever is required to play this properly due to it's meticulous approach on car building.
