What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“CreepyMeal is already in a state where players can jump in and have a great time with it — but it isn't yet the complete experience we set out to build. Early Access lets us keep expanding the game while hearing directly from the people playing it. Your feedback will help us decide what gets built next and make sure the final version is something our community genuinely wants to play.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We're aiming for roughly 12 months in Early Access, though this may shift depending on the scope of what we add along the way. We want to see how players respond to the current build first, and let that shape how much we expand before calling it finished. We'll share updated timing estimates as our roadmap firms up — and we promise to make every month count.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will expand on what's here today with additional maps, more recipes and processing machines, new monsters and hazards, and deeper progression through the food and Trophy upgrade systems. Beyond that, a meaningful part of our plan is intentionally open: we'll be prioritising features and improvements our community asks for during Early Access, alongside the ones our team believes the game needs.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“CreepyMeal is fully playable today, with all core systems in place:

-Online lobby supporting up to 6 players
-Exploration and ingredient-gathering across the map
-Machine-based cooking and ingredient processing to increase value
Recipe system
-Support systems including an ingredient bag and warp points
-Character upgrades earned through eating food
-Character upgrades earned through Trophies
-Two full maps: the Forbidden Restaurant and the Floating Market
-Monsters and traps throughout each stage
-End-of-round Summary screen
-Weapons and support equipment
-In-game voice chat via microphone
-Character customisation — head, eyes, and colour options
-Emote system for in-game expression

Everything listed above is available and playable right now. We expect balance tuning and polish across all of these as Early Access progresses.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes — the price will increase for the full release. Early Access players are getting in at a lower price as a thank-you for supporting the game early and helping shape its development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We'll be in regular contact with our players through the Steam Community hub and our official Discord server. We'll post development updates and patch notes on Steam, and use Discord for day-to-day conversation, bug reports, and feature suggestions. We read everything, and community feedback will directly influence what we prioritise.”

About This Game

Creepy Meal

Creepy Meal is a co-op exploration, survival, and cooking game where absolutely nothing is safe.

Players must explore mysterious locations, collect strange ingredients, drag them back, and cook them into high-value dishes. Hit the required quota, complete the stage, and try not to become part of the menu.

You can go alone... if you really want to be the next ingredient.

Or you can bring up to 5 friends, forming a team of 6 players, and dive into a twisted food dimension where everything looks slightly delicious and very interested in killing you.

Explore, Collect, and Build Value

Explore abandoned dimensions filled with ingredients, valuables, and things that definitely should not be moving on their own.

Grab anything that looks valuable, bring it back, and deliver enough value before your team starts missing a few members.

Turn Ordinary Ingredients into Money-Making Meals

Some things may look like trash, but if they fit into the machine, they can become food.

Use cooking tools and machinery to process ingredients into higher-value dishes.

Eat to Upgrade, Become Suspiciously Stronger

Power up yourself and your team by eating.

In this game, food is not just for staying full. It might make you run faster, survive longer, or at least die a little slower.

More Heads Are Better Than One

Team up with up to 6 players to explore, split tasks, gather ingredients, cook food, carry items, deal with monsters, and blame each other when the plan falls apart.

Teamwork increases your chances of survival, although it does not guarantee that your friends will not cause problems.
