Why Early Access?

“We want to develop NUVRATE with player feedback while its progression, difficulty and gameplay balance are still evolving. Early Access will help us understand which builds, encounters and challenges players enjoy most, and use that feedback to guide further development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We have not set a fixed duration yet. The schedule will depend on the changes needed to progression and difficulty after receiving feedback from a wider range of players. We prefer to establish a realistic timeframe from that feedback rather than announce a release date prematurely.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to refine progression, improve the balance and variety of weapon and passive combinations, and adjust enemy and boss encounters. We also intend to improve interface consistency, audio and performance. Further content may be considered based on player feedback and development priorities.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version includes two survival maps, an Endless mode, a Boss Series mode, weapon and passive upgrades, and arcade mini-games. The core gameplay is playable, but progression, difficulty and balance are still being adjusted. Players may also encounter bugs, performance issues and interface or audio elements that need further polish.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We intend to keep NUVRATE affordable. We have not yet decided whether the price will change for the full release. Any planned price change will be communicated in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to collect feedback through the Steam discussions and at nuvrate@gmail.com. Bug reports, suggestions and experiences with progression, builds and difficulty will help us prioritize updates. We also plan to share development updates and explain significant changes through Steam announcements.”

About This Game

NUVRATE is a single-player arcade action game blending arena survival, choreographed boss fights and rhythm gameplay. Every run is built around immediate readability, builds that reshape the battlefield and intense visual payoffs without sacrificing precision.

BULLET HEAVEN

Enter two fifteen-minute survival maps, evolve your arsenal and face each arena’s final boss. Attacks are automatic: positioning, upgrade choices and crowd control make all the difference.

  • Two arenas, each with its own final boss

  • An Endless mode that mixes both campaigns before entering unlimited overtime

  • Objectives, mini-bosses and arcade trials inside regular runs

  • Weapons and passives built around knockback, attraction, zones, piercing and chain reactions

BOSS SERIES

Face four encounters built around distinct patterns: a laser matrix, a choir of projectiles, a void choreography and a storm of blades. Read the telegraphs, learn the safe routes and preserve enough health to clear the entire series.

DANCE

Switch to a completely different pace in a four-track rhythm campaign. Follow the lanes, chain Perfect hits, protect your HP and chase high scores through increasingly dense charts.

BUILD YOUR PROGRESSION

Unlock permanent upgrades, expand your arsenal, choose from three classes and adjust the difficulty. NUVRATE can be played entirely offline and stores progression locally.

  • Three difficulties: Normal, Hard and Nightmare

  • Interface available in French and English

  • Brightness, screen shake, flash, VFX, enemy outline and control settings

  • A single-player experience with no in-game purchases
