Playtest: switching to Steam keys

Because of the high interest, we are switching the NABERON playtest to Steam keys, so the right players really get access. To get a key, say hello in the playtest topic on the Steam forum or on our Discord, with a few words about yourself. I pick testers in small groups and send keys in a private message. The demo will be open to everyone during Steam Next Fest in October.

Rule the galaxy alone or with a friend.

Explore an unknown galaxy in this real-time space 4X. Colonize the planets worth having. Design your own ships and tanks.

Win the battle in space, then land and take the planet. When guns are not enough, use spies and diplomacy. Make alliances, and break them when it suits you.

No two empires grow the same way. Play solo against the AI, or with friends in one galaxy, side by side or against each other.

Inspired by a legendary '90s Hungarian space strategy classic, built by a single developer. Add it to your wishlist.

NABERON uses generative AI tools in the creation of some of its assets.
3D models and textures were generated with Meshy, then reworked, retextured
and assembled by hand for the game. Music was generated with Suno. The narrator's spoken lines and some sound effects were generated with ElevenLabs from scripts written by the developer. Some store page artwork, including the
logo, was created with AI image tools.

All generated content was reviewed, edited and approved by the developer
before it shipped. The game does not generate any content live while you
play — nothing is created at runtime.
