Thousand Miles by Rail is a relaxing 2D pixel railway travel and light-management game set in China. Build a train that is truly yours, decide how to combine locomotives and cars, and set out from city to city with passengers, cargo, and goods aboard.

Build and arrange your train

Your train is both your main tool and the clearest sign of your progress. Add and arrange cars to suit the journey ahead, balancing passenger and freight capacity as your train grows longer and more distinctive.

Travel, transport, and trade

Every stop brings a new decision. Carry passengers between cities, move cargo across regions, and buy and sell goods along your route. Choose what to take with you and let each journey shape the next.

Enjoy the road between cities

The trip itself is part of the reward. Watch your train roll through a side-view pixel world inspired by the landscapes of China. Make decisions when needed, then sit back and enjoy the sight of the train you built moving ever farther down the line.
