Why Early Access?

“Fly Chicken Fly is built around physics-driven movement, stealth, exploration, and chaotic co-op gameplay. We want to use Early Access to involve players in the development process and learn from their feedback as we continue improving the game.

Early Access will allow us to see how players approach the levels, challenges, stealth mechanics, and catapult gameplay, while giving us the opportunity to improve balance, performance, controls, and overall game feel based on real player feedback.

We also want the community to help shape the game as we expand its content and polish the experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Fly Chicken Fly to remain in Early Access for approximately 6–12 months. The exact duration may change depending on player feedback and the scope of additional content and improvements we decide to make during development.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand Fly Chicken Fly with additional levels, challenges, hazards, and gameplay opportunities. We also plan to continue improving the stealth, movement, physics, co-op experience, and overall polish based on player feedback.

The full version is intended to offer a broader and more polished experience, with more variety in environments, objectives, and ways to escape the farm.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version contains the core gameplay experience of Fly Chicken Fly. Players can explore the farm, search for components, avoid farmers and other hazards, build the catapult, and use physics-driven movement to attempt their escape.

The game is playable from beginning to end, with the core mechanics and gameplay systems in place. During Early Access, we plan to focus on adding content, improving existing systems, balancing gameplay, fixing bugs, and polishing the overall experience.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We are not planning to change the price when Fly Chicken Fly leaves Early Access. Players who purchase the game during Early Access will receive the same game at the same price as players who purchase it after the full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will be an important part of the Early Access development process. We plan to listen to player feedback through Steam Discussions, community posts, reviews, and other available channels.

We will use this feedback to help identify bugs, improve gameplay and balance, prioritize quality-of-life improvements, and determine which areas of the game would benefit most from additional development.

We also plan to share development updates and communicate with players about major changes and improvements throughout Early Access.”
