About This Game

Pillagers: The Poisoned Throne is a dark fantasy turn-based tactics game about a goblin general leading a desperate rebellion in the final days of a long war between goblins and gnomes.

Build your fortress, train your soldiers, craft equipment, and send your squad into dangerous missions across villages, forests, ruins, dungeons, and battlefields. Your units persist between missions, gaining experience, suffering injuries, and dying permanently if you push them too far.

The campaign combines tactical combat with light fortress management. Between missions, you will recruit new soldiers, train them into specialized classes, upgrade buildings, craft weapons and items, and decide how to spend limited resources.

The war is harsh, and the rebellion does not forgive carelessness. Victory depends on positioning, resource management, class synergy, and knowing when to retreat.

Tactical Turn-Based Combat

Command a squad of goblin soldiers in grid-based battles where tactics matter. Use melee weapons, bows, crossbows, bombs, magic, and potions to survive.

Persistent Roster

Your soldiers carry forward from mission to mission. Units gain experience, level up, suffer fatigue and injuries, and can die permanently. A bad mission can leave your rebellion weakened for the rest of the campaign.

Nine Playable Classes

Train militia into specialized roles including Rangers, Rogues, Snipers, Tanks, Alchemists, Fire Mages, White Mages, Battle Mages, and Arbalests. Each class fills a different tactical role and changes how you approach combat.

Fortress Management

Rebuild your ruined fortress between missions. Upgrade buildings such as the Keep, Barracks, Workshop, Mage Tower, Alchemist’s Hut, Archery Range, and Infirmary to unlock new classes, equipment, items, and campaign options.

Campaign Progression

Play through a full campaign of story missions, generated missions, boss battles, fortress upgrades, and roster development as you fight to determine the fate of the kingdom.

Dark Fantasy Goblin Rebellion
