About This Game

The ant farm you had as a kid, alive at the edge of your screen and a lot less messy.

What is it?

A little ant colony that lives along the edge of your monitor while you do other things. The colony grows and searches for food, it tries to survive the elements and interlopers, and every spring it throws a little party for the Queens.

But what do "I" do?

You're the big boss, the CEO (Colony Efficiency Officer). You've toppled the corporate ladder... of your ant colony. That is it. Paint a line and the ants dig it. Paint a room and they use it. You give orders and everything else just happens. This is how it works for a CEO. Enjoy your life of luxury.

Do the ants listen to me?

You're at the top. Of course they listen to you. Point the way and they throw themselves into action. Demand a room be created and it's done. Deem that room no longer necessary and it's gone. They are there to do your bidding, and boy is it fun to watch them go!

Can they die?

Yes... but that's ok, they can be replaced. Every one of them can be replaced with enough time and resources.

What is the point?

Fine, you want it in bullet points. Three easily digestible KPIs for that CEO brain of yours to understand.

• Grow the colony.

• Keep it alive, whatever comes.

• Queens grow the tree every spring.

The more Queens you produce to take flight, the larger the tree will grow. Production means profit, profit means more production, production means more profit... you get it.
