From its cozy bed, Knead watches over a human who sits too much. When you’ve been sitting too long, this grumpy cat pops up to cause mischief, turn on the charm, and distract you from work. It isn’t being naughty—it just wants to get you out of your chair so you can move around and feel better.

About This Game

MEET KNEAD

Knead is a small Abyssinian with a permanently unimpressed face. It curls up beside a monstera in the corner of your Windows desktop, quietly watching over a human who spends a little too long at the computer.

Most of the time, it sleeps peacefully. But when it is time for a little movement, it knows exactly how to make itself noticed.

A LITTLE MISCHIEF, FOR A REASON

Knead is not another quiet notification.

It might reach its paws over the top of your window, peek in from the side, knead at the frame, or cling on and give the window a tiny shake.

It steals a little attention on purpose—just enough to break through your focus and lure you away from the chair for a moment. Each interruption is brief, playful, and unmistakably feline.

A FEW MINUTES, THEN BACK TO WORK

Interacting with Knead opens a compact guided-movement window. It demonstrates one simple, desk-friendly movement at a time, accompanied by a short instruction and timer.

Each movement takes about thirty seconds. You can finish after one or continue with another, turning a quick break into a few minutes of movement.

When the session ends, the window closes and Knead returns to its bed.

NOT NOW? A LITTLE LATER

When the timing is not right, choosing A Little Later sends Knead back to bed. It waits for a while before coming to find you again.

The cat may be persistent, but it still knows when to give you room. The timing of the break remains in your hands.

IT KNOWS WHEN NOT TO INTERRUPT

While you are sharing your screen, presenting, or watching something full-screen, Knead stays in its bed and returns after you are finished.

Knead is not here to manage your day. It just wants to make leaving the chair a little easier—and feel a little more like playing with a cat.
