What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We chose the Early Access model to gather feedback and suggestions from players and continuously improve the game throughout development. Our goal is to refine the core gameplay experience and add more content and features before the full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It’s hard to give a specific timeline, but we have a development roadmap that is constantly being updated and still includes a lot of planned content. We expect to have most of it completed by the end of 2026.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to further subdivide goods categories, add more factors affecting population change, a weather system, some events and storylines, a questline about eliminating pirates, and some story text and visual updates.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game already has a basic supply-and-demand model, which includes factors such as productivity and population. The game uses this supply-and-demand model to generate dynamically changing prices. The current Early Access version includes all of the features described in the "About This" section above. Please refer to that section for details about the current gameplay experience and available features.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will not change during Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will collect player feedback, suggestions, and bug reports through the Steam Community Hub. The game already has a development roadmap. Community feedback will not determine whether a feature is developed, but it will help us assess whether the current gameplay is fun, whether the systems are reasonable, and which content should be adjusted and optimized first.”

About This Game

This is a 2D nautical trade simulation game. Set in a fictional world, rise from a humble merchant to a maritime magnate of immense wealth.

Game Features

  • Trading: The game features many ports and types of goods (spices, silk, porcelain, tea, ivory, rum...). Each port has its own local specialties, population, and productivity. Buy low and sell high between ports, building your fortune on regional price differences.

  • Dynamic Pricing: Prices are never fixed — every trade you make moves the market, while productivity, whether a good is a domestic, all shape prices. Each month, ports recover toward their baseline supply and demand.

  • Ships: Many types of sailing ships (cog, caravel, carrack, galleon, clipper...), each with its own speed, HP, attack, crew capacity, and cargo weight/volume limits. You can set sail with a single ship, or combine multiple ships.

  • Pirates: Pirates will raid your fleets, causing losses. Starting in the second month, ports may come under attack. After a port is attacked, local production efficiency changes, creating additional business opportunities.
