If a drug could eliminate all psychological pain, cure the mental illnesses caused by such suffering, and even erase remorse and guilt, would we still be “human”?

Prescription of Throes is a 2D narrative adventure game.

You play as a high school student who, after enduring years of bullying at school, jumped from a building and survived. Now on leave from school and living alone, you investigate an unapproved experimental psychiatric drug circulating underground alongside companions you meet along the way.

You will explore and interact in side-view environments, gather clues by talking to characters, and take part in minigames woven into the story. The choices you make during the investigation will affect relationships and shape the course of the story.
