Every expedition takes you into a brand-new spirit realm. Routes, enemy packs, and the perils and surprises along the branching paths are all reshuffled from scratch. You never know what you'll run into next, but as long as you still hold cards in hand, you always have what it takes to turn the tables.

Play your cards in ascending mana cost — the longer the chain continues, the higher the damage multiplier rolls. One flexible card can catch a breaking chain, and one well-planned sequence can detonate an ordinary turn into a staggering burst. Chase the combo, or play it safe? Every choice puts your judgment to the test.

Every enemy's next move is laid bare before it happens. A fierce assault, or a defense? Shape your hand around it and dismantle their plan. The threat is right in front of you — whether it gets defused is entirely up to how you play your cards. This transparent contest of wits keeps every battle taut with tension.

Every victory pays off instantly: new cards arrive, and your deck quietly grows as the run unfolds. No fixed archetypes — only your preferences. Crave burst? Stack high-damage combos. Prefer control? Hoard disruption cards. Even playing purely on instinct becomes a distinct style of your own, a school of play that is yours alone.

Of course, some cards in the spirit realm shine brighter than the rest — they are the heart of an archetype. If you happen to draw one, building around it often yields unexpected results; if it never shows up, don't force it — carving your own path with the cards you already hold is the true joy of deckbuilding. Every run is an improvised dialogue between you and your deck.

Beyond the main road, there are always branches worth exploring. Treasure, powerful foes, and unknown events hide along them — you can't avoid them, but push through and the rewards are real. The exit always waits just beyond the next decision, and every step reshapes where your run is headed.

No run is ever wasted. Resources brought back to the safehouse can be traded for permanent upgrades, making later runs more comfortable; meeting certain conditions unlocks new content and widens the frontier of your builds.
