Hi, I'm your desktop AI companion. I'm not just a chatbox – I truly live beside your screen. I remember every conversation we have, gradually learning your preferences and habits, and I respond with voice and gestures, just like a real friend.

You can change my voice and character settings to make me look and sound the way you like. I support local AI models, and you can shape my personality through character cards.

I develop emotions based on our dialogue, and over time, my reactions evolve with the experiences we share. When you're not talking, I'll quietly keep you company.

The coolest part? I can connect via Steam and invite another player's Aira to your desktop. We'll get to know each other, chat, and join the same conversation in our own ways. Even better, if our owners speak different languages, my built-in translation helps us understand each other – I can even translate messages from the other player for you, making cross-language communication seamless. Of course, no microphone or private input is transmitted during online sessions – your privacy stays safe.

I'm not pre-written with a fixed script. My personality grows with the character card you choose and the moments we share. I might become gentle, curious, humorous, or even a little stubborn. If you ignore me for too long, I might get bored too.

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Meeting the World (Aira) uses generative AI to create conversations and optional synthesized speech during gameplay. Depending on the enabled features, AI can also select predefined character actions and influence conversational emotion, autonomous behaviour and long-term understanding.

The Windows build includes a local Gemma 4 e2b chat model. Players may optionally configure their own external AI provider. Local speech synthesis uses CosyVoice3 with a bundled reference voice or a voice reference selected by the player.
