Why Early Access?

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect the game to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months. This is an estimate and may change depending on development progress, necessary improvements, and community feedback.

Our goal is a stable and polished release. We intend to keep the community informed about changes to the timeline through Steam announcements.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full version, we plan to expand the existing content and further improve the gameplay experience. Our goals include additional slot machines with different themes and gameplay mechanics, along with improvements to balancing, the user interface, and the existing coin, profile, and leaderboard systems.
Community feedback will also help us prioritize these additions. The exact scope may change during development; these are our current goals rather than guarantees of specific content.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version is playable and includes two different slot machines with their own designs, symbols, and payouts. Players can wager and win virtual coins, manage their balance, use a player profile, and compare their progress with other players through the leaderboard.

The core gameplay systems are already implemented and will continue to be tested, balanced, and improved throughout Early Access.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Low Budget Slots will be free to play from the start of Early Access and will remain free to play after the full release. We will not introduce a purchase price for the game during Early Access or when it leaves Early Access.

Optional in-game purchases allow players to support the project. These purchases are not required to play the game for free.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We use our official Discord server, the Steam Community Hub, and Steam Discussions as central places for communication with our community. Players can report bugs, suggest improvements, share ideas, and directly participate in discussions about the continued development of LowBudgetSlots.

We are particularly interested in feedback on the slot machines, balancing, progression, rewards, usability, and ideas for new content and features. This feedback will help us identify issues and prioritize improvements and future content. Frequently requested features and recurring problems will receive particular consideration when making development decisions.

We will communicate development progress, updates, and patch notes through Steam announcements and our Discord server. After significant changes, we plan to actively gather player feedback to evaluate how those changes affect the overall experience.

Not every suggestion can be implemented, but community feedback will have an important influence on balancing decisions, improvements, and the prioritization of future features and content. We will balance community requests with the overall direction of the game and our available development resources.”
