A 2D mining base-builder simulation. Inspired by such greats as Dune 2, Deep Rock Galactic and modern roguelites. Every run: dig, deploy robots, build a base, expand, and escape before the site is overrun. Permanent upgrades and new contracts wait at the Corporate Hub™. Sandbox mode included.

Welcome to Oreia!

You're a mining expert: one of the few trusted with the recently relaxed laws on automated robotic mining. Drop into former mining colonies: build a base, extract precious metals, explore and find lost equipment and valuables. Defend yourself against ancient mining operations gone awry and things that don't always appreciate being dug out.

Then escape before your activities draw the attention of what appears to be a sentient presence within the rock...

Swing the pick, read the wall

Every tile can pay out or blow up. Iron, silver and gold sit next to gas pockets that vent creeping clouds, buried traps on a half-second fuse, and unstable rock that brings the ceiling down. Mining fast is how you get rich. Mining carelessly is how you end up in the Corporation's fee-based rescue ship.

Then put the pick down - deploy the robots

Your arms don't scale* - your miner robots blast through the veins you mark, haulers bring ore home, builder robots keep the base growing while you plan the next dig.

*Choose the mining-focused Vanguard class and your arms definitely DO scale.

Refine everything - every step multiplies the payday

Raw ore pays out, but you can do better. Crush it, separate it, leach it, smelt it - a full processing chain turns a truckload of ore into five times the credits. But refined cargo still has to be shipped before it counts, and a smelter running mid-raid is a promise you have to defend. Now with conveyor belts.

The cave notices

The richer your operation gets, the harder it hits back. Raiders come for your robots, your buildings, and even the native creatures come for your ore - every minute spent fighting is a minute not spent mining. Keep the trucks rolling, build walls, security droids and turrets to automate your defense.

You're on the clock, but there's time to explore.

The instability level climbs as you mine Oreia's riches. Meteors hammer your dig sites, the map's edges collapse inward, and when the timer dies the site dies with it - along with everything you didn't ship. Call the extraction and run the gauntlet, or push one more vein and risk facing the Miner Recovery Tax™.

Back at the Corporate Hub™

Between contracts, spend your earnings on permanent upgrades, new equipment loadouts on gear found during the mission, choose your political path and pick your next job on a procedurally generated frontier. Richer contracts, nastier caves.

Prefer to dig in peace?

Sandbox mode: no timer, no collapse, just you, the robots, and a cave that never bites back.
