About This Game

James has been alone for two months.

When it started, he ran up a mountain to a hunting shack his father showed him as a kid, and behind a fence he swore he'd never cross again. He rationed. He waited. He told himself someone would fix this.

No one did.

Now the food is almost gone, and the world outside the fence isn't waiting for him to be ready.

Straw Path is a slow-burn survival horror shooter about what's left of a man after two months of silence — and what it costs him to go back into an unknown world.

• Grounded gunplay. Every weapon is handled with an eye toward authenticity

• A silent protagonist, for a reason. James hasn't spoken to another living soul in two months. His only voice is the journal he keeps, and the choices you make for him...

• Horror that lingers, not lunges. No cheap jump-scare spam. What you find in the dark is often worse after the fight is over.

• A world that doesn't explain itself. Some questions don't get answered. Some blood is never accounted for. Survive first. Understand later, if ever.

The first part is free. It's the beginning of a longer story — and it ends the way most bad days do: exhausted, breathing, and not sure what happens next.
