Об этой игре

Blue Water Builders is a shipyard management game set during the golden age of shipbuilding, taking you from the early 1900s into the mid-20th century. Take control of a small shipyard startup and build it into a successful shipbuilding operation where every decision matters. Design ships piece by piece, manage contracts and production, handle finances and unexpected events, and expand your shipyard as the industry evolves. Build, adapt, and grow your way from a modest shipyard to a major force in the world of shipbuilding.

BUILD YOUR SHIPYARD

Running a successful shipyard is about more than simply building ships. Manage contracts, optimize your workforce, control finances and loans, balance resource usage, keep production moving, and expand your shipyard to take on bigger and more demanding projects. Every decision you make shapes your shipyard's growth, reputation, efficiency, and ultimately its success.

DESIGN SHIPS PIECE BY PIECE

Design ships using a modular shipbuilding system where every section is placed manually. From hull structures to deck layouts, every ship is built according to your own designs and the demands of your contracts. Be careful though, because if you don’t make sure physics are on your side, your ship could tip over, sink and fail sea trials!

Different ship designs can affect construction costs, production speed, efficiency, and overall shipyard performance.

PUT YOUR SHIP TO THE TEST

A ship isn't ready for the open seas the moment construction is complete. Take your vessels out for sea trials and put their performance, stability, and handling to the test before they enter service.

Monitor your ship as it leaves the shipyard, identify problems, and make sure everything performs as expected. A successful trial means a successful delivery, but failure can cost you time, money, and reputation.

MANAGE PRODUCTION

Keep your shipyard running efficiently by managing workforce productivity, resources, production schedules, and ship construction. Balance your available resources and manpower to keep projects moving, meet deadlines, and maximize the output of your shipyard. Every improvement you make can help you build faster, take on larger contracts, and grow your operation.

RESPOND TO UNEXPECTED EVENTS

Your shipyard will constantly face unexpected situations that can affect your shipyard, some of which are: production, finances, worker morale, efficiency, etc.

Handle workplace accidents, inspections, industrial setbacks, recessions, and other operational challenges through decision-based events where every choice can impact the future of your shipyard in different ways. Some decisions may solve immediate problems while creating larger consequences later on.

RESEARCH NEW TECHNOLOGIES

Advance through evolving industrial eras by researching new technologies, unlocking improved ship components, modern construction methods, and more advanced shipyard infrastructure.

As your shipyard grows, so does the scale, complexity, and capabilities of the ships you can produce.

GROW THROUGH DIFFERENT ERAS

Experience the evolution of shipbuilding from the dawn of the 20th century as the industry transforms around you. New technologies, construction methods, materials, and engineering breakthroughs will change how ships are designed, built, and operated. Start with the foundations of a growing shipyard and gradually expand your capabilities as the decades pass. Adapt to new demands, embrace technological advancements, modernize your facilities, and take on increasingly ambitious projects as ships grow larger, faster, and more advanced.

The industry never stands still. The shipyards that adapt are the ones that survive.
