About This Game

Summer 1992.... The country is about to change. Your club is in your hands.

A new league. New television money. Grounds that still smell of the old century, and a transfer market that still runs on handshakes, phone calls and nerve.

You are the manager. Not a passenger in a highlight reel — the person who picks the side, spends the money, fills the ground and lives with the board.

Retro Club Dynasty is a management journey through the first decade of the new top flight era: 1992/93 to 2001/02. Start small or start hungry. By the end of the decade the game you inherited will not be the game you are playing.

This is not a frozen 1992 toy. The world evolves with the seasons.

Key features

  • Era transfer & scouting

The market still has an old-school pulse. Windows close. Agents hover. You can tap up a target before the deal is public and poach academy kids before anyone else has clocked them. Scout properly, move quietly, and live with the fallout if you get caught wanting someone else's player.

  • Era evolution — watch the money explode

Year one is tight. Then the boom hits. Transfer fees swell. Wage bills swell. One bad contract can haunt you for seasons. The clubs that spend bravely can buy the decade. The clubs that panic get eaten. Bigger money. Bigger wages. Bigger risks. Your call.

  • Era tactics that grow with the years

Put players anywhere on the pitch. Draw the shape you actually want, not a pre-set from a booklet. As the seasons roll, the way football is played changes with you — more width, more pressing, more invention — if you have the personnel and the bottle to go with it.

  • Era sponsorship that builds the club

Shirt deals are not wallpaper. Land the right partner and the coffers move. Miss the wave and you watch rival clubs print money while you still argue over a local firm on the chest. Profile, cash, and status all travel together.

  • Era stadiums — bums on seats, money every week

A ground is a weekly machine. Fill it and the cash pumps in. Redevelop, chase capacity, and treat matchday like the business it is becoming. Empty seats in a boom decade are a confession.

A decade, not a screenshot....

League, cups, Europe. A pyramid underneath you. A calendar that actually behaves like the era: long windows, a hard spring deadline, summers that rewrite the squad.

Mid-decade the old transfer shackles start to come off. Contracts mean different things. Foreign quotas shift. The clever clubs adapt. The stubborn ones get left with a wage bill and a story.

You don't inherit a finished giant. You make one

Pick a club. Set a starting XI. Cut a deal. Fill a stand. Ride the money — or get buried by it.

The decade is open. The board wants a dynasty. Success is up to you.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

This game uses generative AI in a limited way, and only for some artwork.

Selected visual assets — including fictional club kits, generic stadium photographs and blueprint-style ground plans — were created or edited with image-generation tools, then reviewed, cropped, and placed by us. Player names, club names, and brands in the public release are invented; they are not official likenesses.

The game itself is not an AI chatbot. Matches, tactics, transfers, finances, and the season are simulated by our own code. No generative AI runs on your PC while you play, and the game does not send your actions to an AI service.

We do not use generative AI to impersonate real clubs, real players, or real people.
