The curse keeps everyone who became part of its story trapped inside. It erases memories, distorts the past, and leaves behind only twisted remnants of people and fragments of what they once remembered.

To bring what happened in this house to an end, you’ll have to piece the story together from the very beginning.

Rooms, corridors, old notes, portraits, and forgotten belongings gradually reveal the story of the family that once lived here.

You don’t have to follow it from the first chapter to the last. Return to familiar rooms, uncover new details, and reconstruct events in whatever order you find them.

Each playthrough can unfold differently and reveal something you missed before.

Unlock All Five Forms

Some objects are still bound to the souls of their owners.

Certain rooms hide object-search sequences. Find everything you need to uncover a key item and gain a new form.

Taking someone else’s form grants you their abilities. Switch between forms while exploring or fighting, choosing whichever one you need at the moment.

Restore Their Memories

Not every important object unlocks a new form.

Some hold memories.

Find one, and you’ll witness a brief fragment of the past: a conversation, a chance encounter, an argument, an act of kindness, or a moment that once seemed insignificant.

On their own, these scenes are only fragments of other people’s lives. Together, they gradually reveal what happened between the people in this house — and how each of them became connected to the curse.

Give Them Back Their True Names

Seeing a memory isn’t enough. You have to work out who it belonged to.

Your journal contains the people connected to this story, but at first, you know them only by their titles.

Match the objects and memories you discover to their owners. Every correct answer restores part of a true name — and another piece of the larger story.

You can reach the ending without knowing everything.

But sometimes, what you chose to find — and what you managed to understand — determines which way out is still open to you.

Not Every Encounter Has to End the Same Way

The curse has twisted its prisoners. Once you claim a soul bound to one of them, their distorted manifestation begins to notice you.

Encounters unfold on a turn-based arena. Move, switch forms, use their abilities, and decide how you want the fight to end.

You can attack until your opponent’s health reaches zero.

Or search through their tangled thoughts for the right words, slowly restoring what remains of what their mind is trying to say.

Both paths let you move forward. But they are not the same choice.

The curse can be broken by force.

To end this story another way, you’ll first have to understand what really happened here — and the part played by every person whose face you have worn.
