About This Game

Roll camera. Level the set.

In Monster Movie Mayhem you play both the star and the director of a schlocky monster flick — a city-stomping beast whose only job is to cause the most spectacular destruction the cameras have ever seen. Every building flattened, every squad car tossed, every explosion is another shot in the reel. Keep the mayhem going, keep the cameras rolling, and post your best Take to the leaderboards.

Become the monster. Free-roam a top-down movie-backlot city and unleash a full kit of monster verbs — Flame Breath, Stomp, Roar, Slide, Tail Swipe, Firestorm, and a Heal — all fueled by the Monster Power you build by wrecking everything in sight.

Every run evolves. Level up mid-rampage to draft Mutations — temporary, run-defining power spikes — and equip permanent Evolution Cards between runs to shape your monster your way. No two takes play the same.

The heat escalates. Trash enough of the city and the Alert Level climbs: Police → Military → Elite. Squad cars give way to SWAT vans, armored APCs, tanks, rocket trucks, and strafing helicopters — and the infantry pile out of their transports to swarm you on foot.

Boss showdowns. Push far enough and the Warden drops in — a towering defense mech with telegraphed barrages, sweeping lasers, ground slams, and destructible weak-point pods. Bait its vents, blow its shoulders off, and survive escalating cycles that hit harder every time.

A city that fights back — and blows up. Districts are procedurally laid out, so every production is a fresh set. Torch a gas station and watch it detonate, harming everything nearby and chain-reacting across neighboring stations in a rippling cascade.

Chase the perfect take. Pick your difficulty — Easy, Normal, or Hard — climb the per-difficulty online leaderboards, and unlock Achievements that pay out in Tickets.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

HaddyForge utilizes PixelLab AI as part of our development workflow to assist with the prototyping and production of select pixel-art sprites, character concepts, and animation frames.

AI-assisted output is primarily used as a starting point for development and is not typically considered game-ready in its initial form. Assets are reviewed, refined, edited, and iterated upon by the developer using PixelLab, Aseprite, and our broader pixel-art workflow until they meet the visual, animation, and technical requirements of the game.

As an independent studio combining pixel-art creation and software development, HaddyForge uses AI-assisted tools to accelerate experimentation and prototyping while maintaining direct creative control over the final assets included in the game.

AI-assisted development tools have also been used during software development to help review and iterate on game systems, identify potential bugs, improve testing, and increase development efficiency. All resulting game systems and implementations are reviewed, tested, and integrated by the developer before release.
