On the Atlantic cliffs of Galicia, Nuno Ferreiro built a quiet life around eight guest rooms and an old telescope. Then his twenty-year pursuit of a perfect total eclipse put Loureira on the world's map. Thirty-eight thousand visitors arrive in a village built for eight hundred, and after 106 seconds of totality, the only road out collapses into the sea.

Stranded behind the festival perimeter, Nuno must face a village under pressure, the consequences of his own enthusiasm, and three women who challenge what he thought this impossible week would mean.

Candela Mouriño — The Till

The owner of Bar Mouriño and a parish councillor, Candela has spent fifteen years arguing with Nuno in public. Fiercely competent and brutally funny, she knows every favor, debt, and grudge in Loureira. Their route begins with friction, pride, and a shared decision they both must answer for.



Bruna Vidal — The Gate

Umbra Live's site and access producer is the face the village has decided to hate. Bruna keeps people safe through headcounts, wristbands, and hard decisions, but the stranded community will barely sell her bread. Nuno opens his door, beginning a forbidden relationship under constant public scrutiny.



Sabela Caeiro — The Line

A rope-access technician and eclipse-chaser, Sabela left Loureira at nineteen and built a life around height, movement, and departure. Her return begins as an effortless friendship with Nuno, then becomes more complicated when they recognize how much they share—and how ready she remains to leave.
