About This Game

It’s time you outsmarted a chess engine. Computers have reigned supreme in humanity’s most prestigious strategy game for too long. Level the playing field with digestible insights into chess engine strategy and game-changing Techniques.

Matches play like normal chess, but the opponent’s moves are telegraphed and they won’t know what you’ve got up your sleeve. Analyze upcoming moves and come up with crushing tactics to gain an insurmountable advantage.

With each victory gain Insight based on the Tributes you’ve given the engine and spend them to unlock new Techniques. With smart choices and careful planning, you just might be able to beat Stockfish.

  • Focus on setting up tactics without getting bogged down in calculations

  • Ramp up the difficulty of each run with Edicts

  • Finish runs in 15-40 minutes

  • Set high scores in challenge mode
