About This Game

PLAN THE HAUL. LOAD THE SHIP. SURVIVE THE ROUTE.

New Frontier 9 is a single-player side-scrolling delivery shooter where every flight begins with a decision. Scout an uncertain sector, buy only the intelligence you need, plot a route through its hazards, and divide a limited hold between cargo, passengers, fuel, and ammunition. Then climb into the pilot's seat and fly the plan yourself.

SEVEN STOPS. ONE FREIGHTER. NO SAFE ROAD.

Keep seven remote stops connected across a hostile frontier. Every successful delivery carries the freighter deeper into the journey and opens a tougher contract. The sector map shows the next destination, the difficulty of the coming leg, and how much road remains.

INFORMATION COSTS. IGNORANCE COSTS MORE.

Spend credits to uncover an uncertain sector tile by tile. Reveal asteroid fields, meteor zones, supply points, wreckage, and sensor-dead blackouts, then draw the route you are willing to fly. A safer path protects the ship; selected hazards raise the contract payout. You can also save your credits and enter the unknown.

EVERY TON CHANGES THE SHIP.

Required freight, trade goods, relief cargo, passengers, fuel, bullets, missiles, and flares all compete for the same hold. A richer load can earn more credits or trust, but the extra mass slows the freighter and increases the fuel needed to arrive. Before launch, compare the projected return with the ship you will actually have to fly.

NOW FLY THE PLAN YOU MADE.

Your route becomes a side-scrolling gauntlet of hostile craft, asteroid fields, meteor showers, wreckage, constricted terrain, and blackouts. Keep a heavy freighter alive while managing fuel and ammunition. Use sustained gunfire, homing missiles against hard targets, and flares when enemy shots close in.

DELIVERY IS MEASURED BY WHAT SURVIVES.

Arrival is only the beginning of the settlement. Damage lowers cargo integrity and final value, while remaining fuel, surviving passengers, and the risks you accepted shape the result. Successful runs build the credits and trust needed to keep the journey moving. If a leg fails, the recon information you already paid for remains ready for the next attempt.

EVERY DECISION COMES ABOARD.

Recon, route choice, and cargo planning do not stay in menus. They determine the speed, endurance, danger, and value of the flight that follows. A light ship leaves room to react; a heavily loaded ship promises a better return if you can bring it through intact. Across a focused seven-stop journey, each delivery becomes the preparation—and the risk—for the next.
