About This Software

AeonDeck is a modular audio mixer and system command deck for Windows. Control per-app volume, trigger media and system macros via hotkeys or digital slots, and sync external DIY controllers over Serial/LAN with zero latency and ultra-low CPU usage.

--- R O A D M A P ---

AeonDeck already has a solid roadmap focused on improving audio engine management. The next items to be addressed are:

  • Advanced digital signal processing (DSP) and audio equalization, operating via a custom, exclusive virtual audio cable to handle processing professionally while optimizing latency and response times.

  • Automatic detection of Steam games and, potentially, games from other libraries.

  • Automatic grouping of applications and games based on type or source (such as Steam games).

    Minimum:
    • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
    • OS: Windows 10 64-bit (Build 18362 or higher) / Windows 11
    • Processor: Intel Core i3 / AMD Ryzen 3 or equivalent multi-core x64 processor (2.0 GHz or higher)
    • Memory: 2 GB RAM
    • Graphics: DirectX 10 / WDDM 1.2 compatible GPU (Shader Model 3.0 support / Direct3D hardware acceleration) and 60 Hz or higher refresh rate monitor for smooth rendering.
    • DirectX: Version 10
    • Storage: 500 MB available space
    • Sound Card: Any (but Dedicated USB audio interface or DAC supporting up to 192 kHz sample rates)

    • Additional Notes: Compatible microcontroller (Arduino / ESP32) or external serial/LAN hardware is optional for physical fader and macro control.
