Miksi Early Access?

Drawing Dead is a build-heavy roguelike, and the heart of the game is balance:
weapon and item synergies, enemy scaling, and the in-run economy. Early Access
lets us tune these systems with real player data instead of guesswork, and
lets the community influence which heroes, weapons and items we build next.
We would rather grow the game together with players than polish it in isolation.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We currently estimate around 6-12 months in Early Access. The exact length
will depend on player feedback: we will leave Early Access when the planned
content feels complete and the balance is where we want it, rather than on a
fixed date.

The core game loop is complete and fully playable: each run you fight through
30 enemy waves, facing an elite or boss encounter every 5 waves. Between waves
you spend coins in the shop on weapons and items across rarity tiers to build
synergies, and elite/boss kills drop reward chests where you keep or sell the
loot. The current build includes 5 playable heroes, over 20 enemy types and
more than 90 weapons and items. All features listed in the
"About This Game" section are implemented - please refer to that section for
details.

We do not plan to change the price when the game leaves Early Access.

We plan to be active daily on the Steam Community Hub [and our Discord]:
posting patch notes and roadmap updates, running polls on balance and upcoming
content, and collecting bug reports and suggestions directly from discussions.
Community feedback will directly drive balance changes and the priority of new
heroes, weapons and items. Significant updates will ship with changelogs that
credit community-reported issues.

This game was developed with the assistance of generative AI tools. Some graphical assets were created using AI and then reviewed, edited, and integrated by the developer. AI tools were also used to assist with writing code. All game design, gameplay mechanics, and final content decisions were made by the developer. The game does not generate AI content at runtime.
