Why Early Access?

“While the single player and multiplayer elements are in the game, there’s still more that needs adding. This includes random missions and mini story arcs which you will discover as you play, adding new and exciting technologies that the community can help come up with based on playing the game and help balance out. Also, the protester mode (when added) really needs input from the community as to what achievements should be added.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It's been in Early access now about 2 years now and probably still more time to go to get it right but it's always being updated which you can check the news section to see or join the Discord group.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will have a single player experience, map editor, protester mode where you can join into any persons online game as a protester, more technology and more music. A better user interface will also be added, and placeholder assets will be upgraded to more bespoke permanent assets.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The single player experience and multiplayer mode are available to play from the get-go. Please bear in mind some new bugs that I have not encountered may still be found.

Single player games are quite stable, multiplayer can be a bit unstable if you have a poor internet connection and the Executron experience (pure first person) has a fair few bugs but its still an immensely enjoyable experience.

There are about 70 technologies in the game. This is planned to increase to over 100 available technologies.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“It may increase with price to reflect the new additions, content and upgraded quality of the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community will be the cornerstone of getting the game just right with suggestions and feedback for new technologies or ways to make the game more fun to bring it up to a high standard of gameplay.”

Executive Assault 2 is an indie real-time strategy/first-person shooter-hybrid set in space in which you can jump into the boots of individual units. Take the reigns as a CEO of your own corporation and dominate rival factions for wealth and tech in a galactic wild west of chaos and lawlessness.

Play Executive Assault 2 in multiple ways including:

Build your base on an asteroid or deploy outposts in space to claim sectors, mine resources, and boost your economy. Sell goods to traders to get promoted and gain access to new technologies. Manage base power, design units to adapt to the situation, and upgrade defence grids. Command fleets of ships or armies of robots and mechs, but be careful - rival corporations and rebellious protestors will do all they can to thwart your aspirations of intergalactic domination!

Fed up of watching the action from above and want to dive in and blow stuff up yourself? Seamlessly switch from RTS to FPS mode for manic fast-paced combat; whether that’s playing as a footsoldier defending your base or in the cockpit of a starship under your control.

Help your friends run their company by immersing yourself in a pure first-person experience as their Executron! Capture outposts, take starfighters out for a spin, board and pilot massive starships, control space fleets or armies of troops, invade asteroid bases with tanks and mechs, explore derelict stations and find loot you can bring back to the base, infiltrate enemy structures and disable them and more!
