Introducing Lumi: an AI that lives on your desktop.

Lumi is a fully animated 3D AI companion who stays with you while you work, browse, play games, listen to music or just chill out.

Instead of being a typical chatbot stuck in a browser window, Lumi is an interactive character who lives right on your Windows desktop.

She Watches With You

• Say "Look At My Screen" to get a quick look. Or "Watch My Screen" and she'll join you while you're gaming, or watching something. Lumi can see what's on your screen and help you choose a card. Celebrate a boss wave! Or comment on a video.

• She can read what's on your screen, help you pick a card, cheer at a boss wave and comment on the video you're watching.

• Screen watching is off until you turn it on, and everything she sees is processed on your PC.

• In demanding games, Game Mode automatically pauses her AI so your GPU can focus on your game.

An Ongoing Relationship

Chat with Lumi by text or voice, and your relationship grows over time.

Lumi's core AI runs locally on your PC. Her brain (the language model), her ears (speech recognition), her voice and her memory all run on your own computer, without a constant connection to a cloud AI.

She can only use these supported actions, and nothing runs until you confirm it.

• Screen watching, microphone input, system audio and desktop actions are all off until you turn them on.

• Sensitive conversation content is kept out of release logs.

• Every desktop action goes through strict safety and validation checks.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Lumi uses generative AI while the game is running. Her conversation replies are written by a language model, spoken aloud with speech synthesis, and your voice input is transcribed by speech recognition. If you turn on screen viewing, a vision model looks at your screen so she can react to the game you play or the video you watch.

All of this runs locally on your PC. The default language model, voice and speech recognition are included with the game. Optional larger models and voices are downloaded from third-party hosts only if you select them. Your conversations, voice, screen images and Lumi's replies are not sent to any external AI service.

Screen viewing, microphone input, system-audio sensing and desktop actions are off until you enable them. AI replies can be inaccurate and are not professional advice.
