What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“TDG already delivers complete single-player runs, but we want to grow the game with real player feedback before calling it 1.0. Early Access lets us improve balance, add content, and polish the experience while players enjoy full 10-wave sessions today. We would rather ship a honest, playable core and iterate than wait until every planned feature is finished.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan for Early Access to last roughly 6 to 12 months, depending on feedback, content goals, and how quickly we can ship stable updates. We will leave Early Access when the game meets our planned content and polish bar for a full release—not on a fixed calendar date alone.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full release to build on the same core loop you can play now: 10-wave runs, procedural maps, towers, upgrades, sell, and repair.

During Early Access and toward 1.0, we plan to:
• Improve balance and difficulty across waves
• Add more content (for example additional towers, enemies, map variety, or modes as design allows)
• Polish visuals, audio, and user interface
• Fix bugs and improve stability based on player reports
• Consider quality-of-life features players request most

We are not promising a specific feature list or ship date for each item. Planned additions may change based on feedback and development time. Features such as Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, extra platforms, or a full map editor are goals we may explore later and are not required for day-one Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access build is a complete vertical slice for Windows:

• Full 10-wave single-player runs with win and lose states
• Procedural military-style maps
• Four tower types with upgrades, selling, and repair
• Additional paths that open mid-run
• Procedural sound effects and volume options
• Local Top 10 scores on your machine (no account required)
• Offline play

This is an early but playable product. Expect ongoing balance changes, content updates, and polish. Performance and presentation will keep improving as we patch.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to offer Early Access at a lower price than the intended full-release price. When the game leaves Early Access, we plan to raise the price to reflect the finished content and polish. Exact amounts may vary by region and are shown on the store page; we are not locking in a specific currency amount here.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to use player feedback to guide balance, bug fixes, and content priorities during Early Access. We plan to post update notes with major patches, read bug reports and suggestions, and adjust the roadmap when community input clearly improves the game. We cannot implement every request, but we will be transparent about what we are working on and what is still experimental.”

About This Game

TDG is a focused military tower defense game from Rubbleline Games. Hold the line across a full 10-wave run, spend scrap wisely, and keep your base standing when the map changes under fire.

Hold the line

Build on a procedural battlefield. Place emplacements, upgrade them through tiers, and sell or repair between waves. Enemy vehicles push harder as the run goes on—and new routes open so your early plan is never permanent.

What’s in the game now

  • Full 10-wave single-player runs with clear win and lose states

  • Procedural maps so every deployment feels different

  • Four tower types with upgrades, sell, and repair

  • Path openings mid-run that force you to adapt

  • Local Top 10 scores on your machine (no account required)

  • Offline play on Windows

Early Access

TDG already delivers complete runs. During Early Access we will keep improving balance, content, and polish based on player feedback. The store Early Access tab has the current roadmap.
