About This Demo

Prologue: A Game of Cards in the Fiery Sea

The old king and the enemy monarch recognized each other on the battlefield - twenty years ago, they had been comrades-in-arms on the road of escape.

"Krens," the old king said, "Look, what have I brought for you?"

"A deck of cards is also a battle."

The two countries went to war, and those who died were the strength of the nation and the loved ones of the people. So they agreed: to use card games as a substitute for war.

But the pact of peace was betrayed. The old king was ambushed by a fire attack on his way back to the city, lying in a pool of blood; while the monarch of the enemy country was struck dead by a lightning bolt on his way back. The two countries became sworn enemies, and that deck of cards symbolizing peace, along with the secrets of the two kings, were all reduced to ashes.

Many years later, you will become the heir of one of the six kingdoms and sit at the round table. This "King's Chess Game" will never come to an end.

Six countries vying for the championship, the card game becomes the battle scene.

In the world of "Crown‘s Gambit", every year the six kingdoms hold a meeting to compete for the crown symbolizing supreme royal power. During the meeting, warfare is prohibited - instead, card games are played.

· Six monarchs, divided into two federations, competing in 3v3 battles

· Your Royal Knights are the trump card on the battlefield

· Your King must safely reach the finish line

· Your Queen needs to be escorted by the Knights' group

The poker table is like a battlefield.

Gameplay: Tower Defense Rules × Knight Narratives

We have fully retained the core rules of Shandong Gouji - this classic card game that originated in the 1960s and was included in the list of Qingdao's Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2008 - and reinterpreted it using the Western knight system:

Game terminology: In-game narrative; Rule explanation

Common cards (4-9) - Commoners - Basic card type, quantity determines power

2 / Jack / King / Queen / Duke - Special identity cards, each having its own privileges

Tournament cards (5 ones of 10 / 4 ones of J etc.) constitute (Royal Knights' Order), only members of the Knights' Order can guard the Queen.

Royal Knights' Order (Tournament cards)

When a player plays a tournament-level card type (such as five 10s, four Js, etc.), only their opponent can respond. This is the most psychologically-charged moment in the game - you are always guessing: How many Knights does the opponent still have in their hand?

Requirement: This is necessary for each round. The knight group escorts the queen back to the city. Draw the level cards and start the escort mission. If the escort is successful, it will be regarded as a successful completion of the requirement.

Blindfold Attack: The Knight's Ambush

When an enemy team that is not your opponent plays the Knight's Team card, you can use a stronger Knight's Team card to "burn" it away (cancel the contract). A successful burn card attack can instantly turn the tide of the battle - just like in an ambush. Burn card attacks do come at a cost.

Core gameplay: Your throne requires protection.

3v3 Federation Battle

Six players are divided into two federations, sitting alternately. Your teammates sit in your "neighbor's seat", while your "opponent" sits directly opposite. The game requires the cooperation of three people - trust, which is more important than card skills.

Zhengke (the one to finish all their cards first) Striving for the Crown. The federation that escorts the king to the finish line first wins the glory.

Single 3 = King The King's Final Mission (Single 3 as the tiebreaker)

The King (Single 3) must be played as the last card. If your King is trapped by your opponent, the entire federation will be in a passive position - protect your King until the very end. The King's ultimate coronation, the King must be the last to play, symbolizing the monarch protecting the subjects.

Card announcement: The King's Critical Moment (Remaining ≤ 10 cards)

When a player has no more than 10 cards in hand, the remaining quantity must be disclosed. From this moment on, you become the center of attention - your teammates will fully support you in rushing towards the throne, while your opponents will do whatever it takes to stop you.

Characteristic System

· Federal Score: Even if the federation loses, individuals who perform well can still receive high scores - honor, not just victory.

· Customized Experience: Unique backdrops, expressions, and monarch skins for each country - your kingdom, defined by you.

· Six Kingdom Power Choices: Each monarch has a unique background story and starting tendency - which faction will you represent?

How many cards will your glory defend the throne until?

"Unite the allies and seize the crown"

" Crown‘s Gambit " is not merely a poker game; it is a narrative about trust, betrayal and glory. Every card played is a silent farewell to the teammates, and every burned card is a resolute response to the opponents.

The deck of cards belonging to the old king and Kronos did not burn up in the inferno. It ended up in your possession.

Now, sit around the round table and form your federation - compete for the crown that belongs to you.
