About This Game

After Dark Jigsaw is an explicit adult jigsaw and gallery game built around themed image collections, unlockable rewards, and a clean puzzle flow.

Choose a collection, pick an image and difficulty, and solve it at your own pace. Completed puzzles unlock their full gallery view, with some puzzles also offering bonus image sets, main menu backgrounds, UI skins, and other visual rewards. Some images include optional flavor text in the gallery, ranging from short phrases to small stories. Most puzzles are available from the start, while others are unlocked by completing related puzzles.

The game includes multiple themed collections, each with its own mood and visual identity. At launch, the game contains 60 puzzles and 87 total images.

Collections at launch are:

1) Mixed Bag #1 - a general sample of unrelated images;

2) Goth

3) Synthetic Dreams - focused on cyberpunk, android, and futuristic themes.

More collections are planned for future updates.

Images can be filtered by rating and by tags, so you can focus on the content you want to see and avoid the content you do not. Completion achievements still require full completion.

Puzzle play is designed to stay smooth and comfortable. Pieces snap into place automatically, loose pieces can be reshuffled, a reference preview is available while solving, and small pieces can be inspected more closely when needed. The puzzle table and felt can also be changed, making it easier to see pieces across darker or lighter images.

After Dark Jigsaw also includes a built-in music player accessible from anywhere by pressing M.

This is a pygame solo-developed project, and feedback is quite welcome. A community page will be created for that purpose.

This game includes pre-generated AI-assisted content.

Most image assets were created through a local ComfyUI workflow then selected, edited, adjusted, and in some cases partially redrawn in GIMP.

Music was created with AI.

The game does not generate images, text, audio, or other AI content live during gameplay.

AI tools were also used as development assistance for debugging, code structure, and implementation support as the project grew more complex.
