You drive left. They drive right. Straight? Only if you're both on the same page. Shared RC splits control of one car between two players — team up (or don't) across brutal, physics-based courses where every wrong move is somebody else's fault too.

About This Demo

What happens when two people try to drive the same RC car? Pure chaos.

You drive left. They drive right. Straight? Only if you're both on the same page.

In Shared RC, you and a friend share control of a single remote-controlled car. One of you steers the left wheels, the other the right — and neither of you can drive it alone. Press forward on your own and you'll pull the car sideways; the only way to actually go straight is if you're both compensating for each other at the exact same moment. It's rarer than it sounds.

What starts as "how hard can steering be" quickly turns into a full-blown negotiation. A single miscommunication sends your car flying off a ledge, into a wall, or straight into an enemy that showed up specifically to ruin your run. But when it clicks — when you're both actually reading each other and moving as one — it feels incredible. For about five seconds, until the next obstacle.

Navigate handcrafted courses packed with moving hazards, narrow bridges, giant ramps, tricky platforming, physics-based puzzles, and enemies that exist purely to knock you off the map. Every new course introduces a mechanic that forces you to rethink how you drive — and how you talk to each other.

Prefer chaos with more people? A separate party mode lets bigger groups tackle the same courses together with shared checkpoints and multiple cars — same teamwork, more friends to blame when it goes wrong.

Whether you're carefully calling out every turn or just laughing as everything falls apart, no two runs feel the same.

Could you and your friends make it to the top — together?

Unique Shared Controls

One car. Two players. One steers left, one steers right — straight only happens when you're both on the same page.

Built for Chaos, Built for Co-op

Every turn is a negotiation. Every crash is a joint effort. Success depends on communication, timing, and how well you take blame.

Physics-Based Gameplay

Every bump, jump, and collision creates chaos neither of you saw coming — and definitely can't take back.

Challenging Courses

Master precision driving across increasingly difficult tracks — or accept that "precision" was never really on the table for either of you.

Run from Enemies

Avoid enemies that may sabotage your runs — assuming you and your friend can agree on which way to run.

Game Modes

Chill - Shared, frequent checkpoints mean zero real consequences — the whole group fails together, at the same time, and shares the blame equally. Nobody's actually behind; you're all just bad together. Jokes aside, this mode is perfect if you can handle a bit of rage-game frustration and just want to have fun with friends.

Normal - No shared checkpoints. If you're ahead, congratulations, now you get to sit there and wait for your friends to catch up — or don't, and let the resentment build naturally. Built for friend groups who secretly want to race and pretend it's co-op.

Hardcore - Same as Normal, but there's only one checkpoint per map/world. One. So if you fall near the end, you're doing the whole thing again, and so is everyone else, and everyone knows exactly whose fault it is.

Each mode keeps its own separate save — so switching from Hardcore to Chill won't save you from the progress you already rage-quit on.

Features

  • Color Customization - A full color wheel, so your car can look exactly how you want

  • Car Customization - make your car look good before it goes off a cliff

  • Plush - Give your car some plush. It won't help you drive, but it'll look great falling off a cliff

  • Emotes - A whole toolkit for rage-baiting your friends mid-crisis

  • Free Move Drone - Detach from the car and float around freely to spy on your friends, or just watch them suffer from a better angle

  • Spectate - Watch your friends suffer whenever you want, not just after you've fallen off yourself.

  • Proximity Voice Chat - for real-time negotiation and real-time regret

  • Couch Local play - argue in person instead of over the internet

  • Online Multiplayer (2-10 players, 2 players per car) - more cars, more friendships on the line

  • Controller Support

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Handcrafted Worlds

Every world has its own gimmick — and its own new way for the two of you to fail.

Full game will contain 5 maps, but the demo will feature Oasis fully and a little part of Assetless. You can greet Charlie Lacks at the end for a surprise.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cars and Plush

Unlock new cars and plush to make your chaos look good. Equip different cars as you unlock them, then decorate with plush — front, back, or riding on top — so everyone can see exactly whose car is about to go flying.

A Note on Shared RC (Rage Game)

Look, we know what we made.

This is a rage game. You will get mad. Your friend will get mad. At some point you will both be mad at each other simultaneously, over a car, that isn't real, in a game, that you paid for voluntarily.

Here's the thing though — rage games are usually a solo sport. You fall, you scream, you blame yourself, you try again. We thought: what if there were two of you to blame instead? Turns out that's a lot more fun. Nothing hits quite like turning to your friend after falling off a cliff for the eighth time and going "that was YOU" while knowing, deep down, it was actually you.

So yes, you will rage. You will also laugh, mostly at your friend's suffering, occasionally at your own. That's the deal. That's the whole game.

If you've ever rage-quit something like Getting Over It and came crawling back for more — welcome home, we made this for you. If you haven't: buckle up, grab a friend, and prepare to test a friendship over a toy car.
