About This Demo

WHAT THIS IS

The opening two sectors of TROUBLE SHOOTERS, playable start to finish. One operative, two zones, two bosses, and the full co-op stack. It ends when THE BLOOM does.

THE CONTRACT

Something came through the Rift. WARDEN has operatives on the payroll and an equipment requisition budget.

TROUBLE SHOOTERS is a 2D roguelite run-and-gun. Every run assembles a fresh chain of rooms, hands you whatever the drop tables felt like handing you, and asks you to make it work. The aliens are numerous, expressive, and extremely committed. So are you.

IN THIS DEMO

  • Grunt — the operative WARDEN assigns when it wants the job done without a conversation about it.

  • Two sectors. From the industrial floor into something considerably less mechanical.

  • Two bosses. THE FOREMEN are four industrial androids working a shared metronome, attacking in sequence. THE BLOOM is the reason the second sector smells like that.

  • Your DSCO. Field weapons do not go in your hands: they go to a drone that follows you, holds the gun, and fires when you fire. Your own weapon never runs dry.

  • Stacking gear that multiplies rather than replaces. A run that begins with a slightly faster reload can end with a screen that is no longer strictly legible.

  • 2-4 player co-op. A death is not the end of the run while a teammate is standing.

HELD BACK FOR THE FULL GAME

Three more operatives: a shock trooper who fights with pile-driver fists, a combat techie with a drone escort, and whatever Wraith is. Two more zones, three more bosses, and three difficulty tiers above the one you are being handed here.
