POST-LAUNCH ROADMAP

Briarbound launches as a single-player game. Ranked multiplayer with an Elo-style rating and its own leaderboard is planned as a post-launch roadmap feature. Production development will begin once the active player base can support healthy matchmaking. Scope and timing will be confirmed using live player data; no release date is currently promised.

Briarbound is an online, single-player fantasy deckbuilder built around an endless sequence of increasingly dangerous encounters. Choose your class, assemble a deck from the cards you own, and adapt your strategy as each victory pushes you deeper into the wilds.

MASTER FOUR CLASSES

Play as The Tough One, The Mystic One, The Sneaky One, or The Wise One. Each character has its own ability, starting deck, and affinity options.

Earn coins through play, obtain booster packs, expand your collection, unlock classes, and build custom decks that respect each class's strengths.

FIGHT AN ENDLESS ENEMY PROGRESSION

Face 27 handcrafted enemies before the challenge transitions into deterministic scaling from Encounter 28 onward. Every step raises the pressure and tests how far your deck can go.

MAKE EVERY TURN COUNT

Balance damage, block, card draw, energy, healing, poison, reflect, and passive effects in tactical turn-based combat.

CHASE SEASONAL AND PERMANENT RECORDS

Each season resets the current climb while preserving your all-time best. Compare your progress through seasonal and permanent single-player leaderboards.

ONLINE-ONLY, SERVER-AUTHORITATIVE PROGRESSION

An internet connection is required. Profiles, progression, rewards, purchases, encounters, and rankings are managed online to keep competition consistent.

FREE TO PLAY

Briarbound is free to play, with optional purchases. Multiplayer is not part of the launch version.
