FlashBoss - English Core: 1,000 English words for German, Japanese, Spanish, Chinese and Russian speakers

Fibonacci spaced repetition and boss fights.

Who this course is for: you speak German, Japanese, Spanish, Chinese or Russian, and you want to learn English. Every card teaches one English word — with a translation, a translated example sentence, and study notes in your language. The whole game interface speaks your language too. This page is in English, but the course is not: it meets you in German, Japanese, Spanish, Simplified Chinese or Russian from the first card.

Who this course is NOT for: native English speakers. It teaches the first 1,000 words of English — words you already know. Your English packs are Adept and Advance, included in the base game, or any of the 'Roots Packs'.

In this pack:

  • 1,000 high-frequency English words in five tiers

  • Translations, example translations and study notes in German, Japanese, Spanish, Simplified Chinese and Russian — every card, no gaps

  • 38 reference lessons — word order, articles, tenses — readable in German, Japanese, Spanish, Simplified Chinese or Russian

  • Spoken audio for every word and example sentence

  • American English base with a full British spelling option

  • Boss fights guard every gate: no cluster is cleared until its hardest words are mastered
