Enemies will stop at nothing to take down the Isletress. You control a single fortress: there are no towers to place, no units to command, and no weapons to aim. Instead, you decide how the fortress fights. 120+ distinct weapons and upgrades are at your disposal, adapt your build to the threats ahead, and try to survive as the siege grows stronger.

The Isletress is home to a remarkably diverse arsenal. Harness the power of holy warriors and demonic experts, bounty hunters and arcane sorcerers, steampunk engineers and proud elvish soldiers. Each weapon belongs to one of six categories, bringing its own strengths, mechanics, and ways to build around it. Will you embrace one tradition or combine them all?

Burn, poison, slow, stun, root, knock enemies back, make them vulnerable, mark them for destruction; or simply overwhelm them with raw power. Weapons and upgrades interact with categories, attack types, status effects, shields, the fortress itself, and each other. Combine a few mechanics or exploit as many as you can. The systems are yours to break.

Every run can make you stronger. Take on challenges with unusual restrictions to earn achievement rewards, gain XP and spend Talent Points on permanent upgrades, and reach long-term milestones that expand your progression.
