An old fab, a fresh start

Fab.exe is a single-player factory-management game about turning an aging cleanroom into a reliable semiconductor fab. Place the right tools, follow each lot through the line, and make practical decisions when capacity, quality, time and cash all compete for attention.

Read the factory, then improve it

FOUPs move through the fab on AMHS routes while queues build around lithography, etch, deposition, metrology and packaging. Watch the flow, find the real bottleneck, add matching capacity, plan maintenance and keep work in progress under control.

Protect yield and keep your promises

A busy line is not always a healthy line. Investigate defect patterns, adjust sampling, manage equipment wear and balance urgent contracts against long-term stability. Every improvement has a cost, and every delay has a consequence.

Grow through 32 story missions

Start at N28 and guide the fab through new process generations toward N2 and A10. The campaign introduces the systems step by step, then asks you to combine them as the factory becomes larger and more demanding.

The entire in-game interface is localized in English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, Spanish, Italian, German, and Brazilian Portuguese.

Choose how you run your fab

• Story: 32 handcrafted missions introduce the systems step by step, with objectives and ratings.
  
• Free play: run an open-ended factory, research new processes and expand at your own pace.
  
• Endless Fab: no time limit or fixed victory target. Keep adding Phases and tools, pursue recurring goals and expansion tiers, and continue technology upgrades beyond A10. Choose a standard, wealthy or N7 start, with normal, mild or frozen rival growth. Bankruptcy remains possible.
  
• Daily and weekly challenges: seeded runs with changing conditions and scoring goals.

Update 0.34.1 — what changed

• Includes continuous sandbox play, expansion tiers, recurring objectives, scalable demand, bounded rival pressure and technology waves after A10.
  
• Improved save summaries and restoration of run rules, factory expansion and recurring goals. Fixed percentage tooltips and cleanup when switching or reloading runs. Updated mode explanations in ten languages.

Generative AI was used during development to create selected pre-generated store graphics, story illustrations, and in-game art. These assets were reviewed and edited before inclusion. The game does not generate AI content at runtime and does not send player input or personal data to AI services.
