About This Game

Xenobiome Command is a colony management game set on a fungal exoplanet.

Each region is a map of areas: survey, claim, build, and defend them from the bloom.

Ferals march on your borders; incidents, blights and seasons keep you busy.

  • Survey fogged ground. Every survey action costs vigor, and distant ground costs more.

  • Claim areas for biomass, filtrate, fiber and heat cells, and produce antigens, regolith and alloy.

  • Raise 38 buildings: beds, farms, labs, walls, shrines.

  • Send wardens against feral packs. Fights run for days: press the attack, pull back, or lure the pack somewhere else.

  • Watch raids gather. Packs gather for days before they move on you.

  • 18 commanders and 7 traits define how a run plays.

  • 4 research tracks and 14 techs, drafted; giving you countless combinations.

  • 125 incidents and colony moments; the choices are yours to make.

  • Seasons, drift and blights change what the map will throw at you.

  • Festivals, artifacts and a contribution shop between runs strengthen you.

  • Stars buy artifact re-rolls, map re-seeds and an extra modifier slot; each map shows you its hardest-cleared difficulty and each commander earns a title.

  • Today's drop: a fresh date-seeded scenario every day, your best attempts on record.

  • Seeded runs open with a draft: pick your modifiers, and pick one artifact from your collection.

  • An in-game codex quotes the exact numbers the engine actually uses.

17 story maps take the colony from first landing to last stand, with narration between missions.

Then all 17 as scenario biomes: seeded layouts, quests, 16 rolled map traits and adjustable threat for infinite replayability.

Pace modes run from relaxed to sandbox, and they change how hard the ingame timer pushes you - or remove it entirely. Pause whenever you want.

Difficulty rows state their real numbers when you choose them. Queued builds cancel for a full refund, and undo is one tap away. Keyboard bindings can be changed in the Options menu.

A run can be finished in 10 minutes, or a week, do them in your own pace. The whole game plays offline: a laptop with no connection is enough. The demo's save carries into the full game.

Buy it once, and every DLC I release will be free.

Xenobiome Command was made by one person. My promise to you, the player, is this: I won't make you pay anything else after your purchase, all future updates, DLCs are free. Also your bug report (Options menu) will reach me, a human, and I'll deal with every single one of those. I want this game to be something you love as much as I do.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

The narrator's voice lines are synthesized speech generated from scripts written and edited by the developer. Some music tracks were created with generative music tools from developer-written prompts. All gameplay systems, code, game design and visual assets (key art, map terrain textures, character and hero illustrations, narration video plates) are human-made. The game contains no live AI-generated content: everything was generated during development and reviewed before inclusion.
