About This Game

A one-button ricochet score-attack shooter

You don't aim freely. The reticle swings left and right on its own, and only one bolt can be in play. You choose when to fire. Learning to work with that limitation — and turning one shot into a long ricochet — is the heart of the game.

Three rules

  • Left click (or Space) to fire
  • Press again to clear the bolt
  • If a single enemy reaches the line at the bottom, the run is over
That is everything you need to know. The rest you pick up by shooting.

Every shot is a small ricochet puzzle

Your bolt ricochets off the walls and keeps flying until it burns out. Some monsters knock it back as well, so every shot carves a different path through the swarm. Bad angle? Clear it and fire again. You are only ever planning one bolt at a time.

The longer a shot lives, the more it pays

Every monster a single bolt kills feeds a running total that keeps building until that bolt is gone. The second kill pays more than the first, the third more than the second — one well-placed shot can swing an entire run. How you make it bounce is for you to find out.

Two modes, two difficulties

  • Normal — a run takes about five to seven minutes. Survive the swarm, and a boss is waiting at the end.
  • Endless — no finish line. The monsters are the same ones you meet in Normal, but each lap makes them more dangerous. See how far you can push your LEVEL, and pick up again from a level you have already reached.
Difficulty comes in Standard and Nightmare. Nightmare does not bring in new kinds of monsters, but more of them show up, and some of them move far more aggressively. Under a moonlit sky, it asks you to fight through denser waves than Standard, and it unlocks as you progress through Endless.

Compete

  • Online leaderboards — four boards, one for each combination of mode and difficulty
  • 19 achievements

Start with the free demo

The swinging aim is deliberately different from free aiming. Try the free demo to see whether its rhythm clicks with you — the entire Normal mode is included, at exactly the same balance as the full game, with no time limit and as many runs as you like.
  • Demo scores do not carry over to the full game or to the online leaderboards
  • The full game adds: Endless, online leaderboards, 19 achievements, and Nightmare difficulty

What this game is

A game built around short runs you replay to get more out of a single shot. Under one simple set of rules, you keep noticing that the last shot could have gone further — and the way you read the next one changes. A run takes about five to seven minutes, and it ends just early enough to make you want one more.
