About This Game

Death isn't the end. To Yorick, it's the potential.

Yorick: Worlds in Bloom is a cozy third-person exploration game about a little reaper who recycles what has died and uses it to bring the world back to life.

Wander through faded landscapes, gather spent matter into Yorick's Mortal Coil, and return that energy to the earth. Every patch restored, creature awakened, and forgotten place revived gives Yorick something he deeply values: the quiet satisfaction of leaving the world more alive than he found it.

REAP. RESHAPE. BLOOM.

Yorick's Mortal Coil draws dead matter out of the world so it can live again.

Reap withered ground and lifeless remains to fill the Coil, then release that energy somewhere new. Gray soil bursts into color. Dead trees grow fresh crowns. Flowers emerge, habitats form, and forgotten places begin to breathe again.

You can even reshape the ground beneath your feet, turning what was lost into the foundation for new life.

WATCH THE WORLD COME ALIVE

Restoration isn't just a progress bar.

Each region develops its own personality as it blooms, from dense woodland and golden grasslands to crystal-covered ridges, snowy peaks, and life beneath the water.

The more Yorick restores, the more dramatically the world transforms around him — and bringing it back is its own reward.

FOLLOW YOUR CURIOSITY

There is more hiding in the dead world than dirt.

Explore off the obvious path to find unusual landmarks, ancient remains, hidden transformations, and spirits waiting to be awakened. Some discoveries are easy to spot. Others reward experimentation, observation, or simply wondering, “What happens if I bloom this?”

Everything you uncover is recorded in Yorick's Living Folio.

BECOME A SLIGHTLY BETTER REAPER

Restoring the world and making discoveries earns Quintessence.

Spend it on Yorick's Better Parts, unlocking new talents and improving the strange little reaper as your journey continues.

Some upgrades require more than currency. The best ones ask you to actually go out into the world and do something worthy of them.

A COZY GAME ABOUT THE CYCLE OF THINGS

Yorick doesn't fight death.

He makes something from it.

Explore at your own pace. Restore what catches your eye. Chase strange marvels. Sit quietly for a while if you like. Smell the roses you have made. There is no rush to save the world.

For Yorick, fulfilment comes from the simple act of taking what has ended and helping and begin again in a new form.

Nothing is wasted. Everything can bloom again.
