About This Game

BUILD YOUR SCORE. BUILD YOUR FLOW. PUSH YOUR LUCK.

Cosmic Karma is a roguelike card game about turning ordinary playing cards into increasingly powerful combo chains.

Every successful combo earns Karma, but the order you play them matters. Start small, build Flow, then save your strongest combinations for when they can hit the hardest.

A Pair might only be the beginning.

EVERY BATTLE HAS ITS OWN RULES

Karmic Laws change the conditions of every fight.

One battle might stop Hearts and Clubs from being played together. Another might limit the size of your combos, reward Rolled cards with extra Flow, or force you to build your combinations in a completely different order.

The cards in your hand stay familiar. What you are allowed to do with them does not.

CHOOSE HOW MUCH YOU WANT TO RISK

Each biome unfolds across a branching constellation of battles and rewards.

Take the safer route, or step into a Dangerous Battle with a tougher Karma target in exchange for a much larger XP reward. Hunt for Celestial rewards, strengthen your Arsenal, and decide what is worth risking before the biome's Boss.

Your route is part of the build.

BUILD SOMETHING STRANGER THAN A DECK OF CARDS

Celestial cards and Combat Specials give you ways to bend the normal rules of the hand.

Tarot and Zodiac effects can reshape your options and create new tactical conditions, while your Arsenal adds powerful physical cards to battle. Attack exposed enemy cards, poison several targets at once, recover from a bad turn, or build around the Specials that suit the way you play.

You won't see everything in a single run, and you won't have room to keep everything you find.

AND THEN THE BOSS STARTS PLAYING BACK

Boss battles aren't just bigger versions of ordinary fights.

They interfere with your hand directly, create their own threats and force you to adapt the build that carried you through the biome. Cards can be destroyed, corrupted or turned against you, while Boss-specific mechanics change what a safe turn even looks like.

Sometimes the best answer is to turn their own power back on them.

ONE DECK. THREE ROUNDS. A LOT OF BAD DECISIONS.

Cards are drawn from a persistent 52-card deck during each battle, so the hand you spend now affects what can still appear later.

Roll when you need another option. Preserve cards when you want to carry part of your hand into the next round. Spend XP between battles to expand your Celestial deck and Arsenal. Take the dangerous path when you think your build can survive it.

Then do it all again with a different hand, a different Law and a different route through the stars.

Cosmic Karma is about making ordinary cards do extraordinary things — and knowing exactly when to push your luck.
