About This Game

LILITH is a strange little platformer about nesting dolls, borrowed bodies and the city of İstanbul.

🪆 EVERY HEAD IS A WORLD
Dive into any character's head and find a whole place inside: a room, a street, a graveyard, a shopping mall. Worlds nest inside worlds. Zoom out far enough and you'll see yourself, small, inside someone else.

🪢 WEAR THEM. BECOME THEM.
Skills aren't unlocked, they're worn. Hang a jumper on your tree and you can jump. Hang a singer and the wind of her song carries you. Stack them, nest them, cut them loose with scissors. Your body is your build; what you carry is what you are. And when hanging isn't enough, hang yourself on a lilith's branch and BECOME her.

🏙️ AN İSTANBUL OF DOLLS
Fly over the Bosphorus on an umbrella. Silence humming wires so a flying cat will come to carry you. Ride a courier's draft, cut a troll's hair in a mall barbershop, climb a mountain where goats write graffiti. A whole İstanbul in khokhloma folk strokes.

His name is Jasper. He sleeps in a nest above the world. Don't cut his rope.

I'm a solo dev. The idea, design, writing, levels and world are mine. I use AI to help with code. Some of the environment art started as AI drafts that I've repainted and edited by hand in Procreate. Every asset has been through my hands, but not all of them were drawn from scratch. I'm redrawing those from scratch as I find the time. I have a day job, so it takes a while. Nothing is generated while the game runs. The music is a real 1930s recording.
