What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Dimenshaper is a precision platformer where small changes to movement, level design, difficulty, and pacing can have a big impact on the experience. Early Access gives us the opportunity to develop the game together with the community, gather feedback from real players, identify what works best, fix issues, and adjust our priorities as development continues.

We also want player feedback to help us decide which mechanics, quality-of-life improvements, and requested features are most valuable before the full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Dimenshaper to remain in Early Access for approximately 9–12 months. This may change depending on development progress and community feedback, as we want to make sure the full release reaches the level of quality and content we are aiming for.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The main differences are planned to be the amount of content and the range of gameplay mechanics.

We plan for the Early Access version to launch with around 50 handcrafted levels, while the full version is intended to contain around 100 levels. During Early Access, we also plan to expand the player's movement and abilities, introduce additional mechanics, and continue refining existing levels based on player feedback.

For the full release, we also plan to include a level editor that will allow players to create their own challenges and play levels created by other members of the community.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At Early Access launch, planned for the end of 2026, Dimenshaper is expected to include around 50 handcrafted levels built around precision platforming and dimension switching.

The core movement system, dimension-switching mechanic, time-based challenges, unlockable player skins, visual filters, and main progression loop will already be playable. During Early Access, we plan to expand the game with additional mechanics, levels, balancing, polish, and improvements based on community feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan to increase the price when Dimenshaper leaves Early Access, with the full-release price currently expected to be approximately twice the Early Access price.

The lower Early Access price reflects the game's ongoing development and is also our way of recognizing the players who support the project early, participate in the community, and help us improve the game throughout development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to actively collect feedback about level difficulty, controls, movement mechanics, accessibility, balancing, bugs, and quality-of-life improvements. We also want to listen to feature requests and use community feedback to help determine which ideas are worth prioritizing or changing during development.

We are comfortable adjusting or reworking parts of the game when player feedback shows that something could work better. As development progresses, we also plan to involve the community in testing new mechanics and features.

The planned level editor will further expand this relationship by allowing players to create and share their own levels, giving the community a much larger role in Dimenshaper beyond the levels created by Barkhalla Studios.”

About This Game

Once feared for your power, now stripped of it, you descend through a fractured world to reclaim what was lost. Dimenshaper is a handcrafted precision platformer about momentum, timing, and mastery.

Jump through dangerous rooms, switch dimensions to change what the world allows, and push for cleaner, faster runs through tightly designed levels.

What makes it special?

Dimenshaper is built around precise controls and short, focused challenges. You are not just trying to survive each room — you are learning movement, understanding dimension-based obstacles, and improving your route every time you retry.

Tight precision platforming

Expect demanding jumps, fast reactions, and levels that reward consistency.

Dimension switching

Swap dimensions to change how the level behaves and which paths are available.
