What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Guild of the Tower's core systems — guild management, hero progression, tactical auto-battle combat, crafting, and the first stretch of the tower — are complete and have gone through extensive internal testing. We're entering Early Access to put the game in front of players while we continue building the tower's deeper floors, and to shape that content with real player feedback on pacing, balance, and the systems already in place.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Based on our development pace so far, we expect Early Access to last approximately 10 months, though the exact duration may shift depending on scope, balance passes, and player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will include all 100 floors of the tower, resolving the mystery at its heart, along with additional monsters and items, and a full balance pass across all systems informed by Early Access feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At launch, Early Access includes the game's full core loop: guild management (recruiting, training, crafting, and building upgrades), a roster of dozens of heroes with individual backgrounds, traits, and relationships, the Gambit auto-battle system, weapon mastery and magic progression, and over 20 floors of the tower. The tutorial and both English and Thai localization are complete, and all core systems have been through extensive internal testing.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan to price the game lower during Early Access as a thank-you to players who join us early and help shape the game. We plan to raise the price when the game reaches its full 1.0 release.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We'll be using Steam Community discussions to gather player feedback throughout Early Access. Player input on balance, pacing, and the tower's deeper floors will directly shape what we prioritize as development continues.

About This Game

Build a guild. Raise heroes. Send them into a tower nobody remembers being built — and every fight is fought by tactics you programmed yourself.

Guild of the Tower is a party-based RPG about building a guild from the ground up, not just assembling a party. Recruit heroes, manage their wellbeing, craft their gear, and send them climbing into a tower that has no known top, no known builder, and no known reason to exist.

BUILD YOUR GUILD, NOT JUST YOUR PARTY

Recruit from a roster of dozens of heroes, each with their own background, personality, and traits. Assign them to the forge, the training grounds, the infirmary — or the front line. Manage mood, fatigue, and injury, because a guild that burns out its heroes doesn't survive long.

PROGRAM YOUR PARTY'S INSTINCTS

Combat is turn-based and fully automated through the Gambit system: set conditional rules for each hero — heal an ally below half HP, target the enemy with the lowest resistance, attack the back line first. — then watch your strategy play out on its own. Master six weapon families, each with a deep skill tree of actives, passives, and signature techniques.

CLIMB SOMETHING THAT WAS NEVER SURVEYED

Nobody knows how tall the tower is. Nobody knows what's waiting past the floors that have already been mapped. What we do know: heroes go up, and not all of them come back down. Permadeath is real — the ones who fall stay fallen, remembered only in the guild's cemetery. Whatever answers are up there, you'll have to send someone to go find them.

A GUILD IS MORE THAN SIX HEROES

Craft and refine equipment at the Forge and Alchemy Lab. Dispatch heroes to gather resources across the region. Build relationships between your heroes — bonds that grow, or break, over time. Upgrade a dozen guild buildings, from the Dormitory to the Tavern, and watch a handful of hopefuls grow into a legend.
