Why Early Access?

“Jumpy Mumpy is built around real-time interaction between TikTok LIVE streamers and their viewers. Early Access will allow us to test these interactive systems with a wider range of livestreams, communities and gift configurations.

Player and streamer feedback will help us improve balancing, performance, usability and the reliability of gift-triggered actions. It will also help us understand which interactions create the most enjoyable livestream moments as we continue developing the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Jumpy Mumpy to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months.

This estimate may change depending on community feedback, technical development and the amount of testing required for the TikTok LIVE interaction systems. We want to leave Early Access when the game reaches the level of stability, polish and content variety that we believe is suitable for a full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand and improve Jumpy Mumpy throughout Early Access based on player and streamer feedback.

Planned areas of development include additional viewer-triggered actions, more platform and environment variations, improved visual and sound effects, expanded streamer customisation, clearer onboarding, balancing improvements and further performance optimisation.

We also plan to continue improving the TikTok LIVE connection and gift configuration experience. The exact scope of the full version will develop over time as we learn how different streaming communities interact with the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version provides a playable TikTok LIVE climbing experience with the core gameplay and interaction systems in place.

Players can climb towards a configurable target height, encounter different platform types and use movement mechanics such as normal jumping and small mode. Streamers can connect the game to TikTok LIVE and assign supported gifts to different in-game actions.

Viewer-triggered actions include launching or dropping the player, granting wings and jump boosts, dropping objects into the game, activating special choice events, triggering instant wins and resetting the current run.

The core game is playable, but additional content, balancing, interface improvements, visual polish, performance optimisation and TikTok LIVE compatibility testing are still in development.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently plan to offer Jumpy Mumpy at a lower price during Early Access.

The price will increase when the game leaves Early Access to reflect the additional content, improvements and overall level of polish introduced during development. Any planned pricing changes will be communicated to the community in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will play an important role in the development of Jumpy Mumpy.

We plan to collect feedback through Steam Discussions, reviews, update announcements and reports from TikTok LIVE streamers using the game. We will pay particular attention to gift-action balancing, connection reliability, performance during busy livestreams, usability and suggestions for new interactive actions.

Updates and important development changes will be communicated through Steam. While not every suggestion can be implemented, community feedback will help us prioritise improvements and shape the direction of the game.”
